On Thursday January 14, 2010 former BYS President Nelson Chin was honored by the Town of Braintree. His contributions to the youth of Braintree were recognized in the Peacemaker Honorees Ceremony at the Braintree Town Hall Auditorium. Nelson was selected for his selfless leadership of Braintree’s largest youth recreational organization, Braintree Youth Soccer.
While he still is active coaching a team, Nelson’s contributions in keeping the “ball rolling” during years of incredible growth within BYS has provided such opportunities for Braintree’s youthful athletes.
